04/13 Extra credit cards redemption starts from the last week of the semester (04/24) through the final exam date (05/03). Bring the cards to class or my office, and I will enter your extra credits in the gradebook.
04/13 According to the university final exam schedule, our last exam will be held on 05/03/2012 (Thursday) 12:00 - 2:00 pm
04/13 I will be out of town on April 18-19. Kevin will cover me to give you a recitation on April 19 (Thursday) on Chapter 16 the monetary system, which is an important chapter and some exercises are helpful for understanding the course materials.
04/08 There will be a graded Aplia assignment on Chapter 16, due on 04/20 (Friday).
03/30 Leture notes on Chapter 13 are updated.
03/25 Do not forget the extra paper. Earn up to 3 extra credit points. Submission deadline 04/05/2012 at class time.
02/21 Homework on Chapter 10 GDP (practice) and Chapter 11 CPI (graded) is posted on the Aplia. There is no deadline for practice problem sets. The graded homework is due on Feb 29. Both practice and graded problem sets may be related to the exam questions. Also, A forecast on the Exam 2: Multiple choice questions will become easier, but problem solving questions will become harder, but highly similar questions are covered verbally in the lectures. It is helpful to take some notes in class. The posted lecture notes slides are comprehensive. However, if you solely rely on self-studying the lecture notes, I am worried that you might encounter difficulties in fully understanding the materials.
