Principles of Macroeconomics, 5th edition
by N. G. Mankiw,
South-Western Cengage Learning.
Macroeconomics studies the economy as a whole by discussing aggregate-level concepts such as GDP, unemployment, inflation, fiscal and monetary policy, economic growth, etc. This course provides an overview of the real world macroeconomic phenomena. Basic models are also introduced to analyze the long-run determination of aggregate variables and their relationships, as well as short-run economic fluctuation and stabilization policies.
